In May 2025, our visiting artist was Alan Ferber, the New York based, Grammy-nominated trombonist and composer. Alan gave a Masterclass during Common Hour, worked with students at LVC’s High School Jazz Invitational, and spent some time with VJO’s trombonists. Alan was also our guest soloist at the VJO concert and performed in the LVC Faculty Jazz recital the following day.
