In May 2025, our visiting artist was Alan Ferber, the New York based, Grammy-nominated trombonist and composer. Alan was also our guest soloist at the VJO concert and performed in the LVC Faculty Jazz recital the following day.
In February 2025, saxophonist and composer Hashem Assadullahi worked with our Valley Jazz Orchestra as a visiting guest artist and then performed a set with Dr. Jeff Lovell and Dr. Justin Morell, members of our jazz faculty.
