Dr. Rebecca Lister, a professor of voice at LVC, recently completed a sabbatical focusing on vocal jazz, which culminated in a recital this afternoon. Lister performed 12 pieces, including selections such as “Summer Me, Winter Me,” “Só Danço Samba,” and “Once Upon a Summertime.” Lister was joined by several members of the LVC Faculty Jazz and a technical setup organized by members of the campus’s club for Audio Engineering, who also recorded the recital. Dr. Lister and her fellow faculty musicians delivered an engaging and exciting performance to a full audience of students, faculty, and members of the community.
